Mykonos Island Builder — Effective: May 2026

            Short version: We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. This is a pure frontend game — everything runs in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no selling data.
        

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Mykonos Island Builder is a client-side only web application. We explicitly do not collect:

Your name, email, or contact information
Your island designs or saved data (stored locally on your device only)
Your IP address beyond standard server logs (Vercel/Netlify hosting)
Any personally identifiable information (PII)

2. Local Storage

Your island creations are saved to your browser's localStorage — a standard web API that stores data only on your device. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not transmitted to any server
Can be cleared by clearing your browser data
Is your responsibility to back up (export feature coming soon)

3. Cookies

We use minimal cookies:

Essential cookies: None required — the game runs without cookies
Analytics cookies: Only if you consent via our cookie banner (Google Analytics, optional)
Advertising cookies: Set by Google AdSense (see Section 5)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings.

4.2 Vercel / Netlify (Hosting)

Our hosting provider (Vercel or Netlify) may collect standard server logs including your IP address and browser user agent. This is standard web hosting practice and we do not access or analyze these logs for tracking purposes.

4.3 GitHub Pages / CDN

Some assets may be served via CDN. These services may log standard HTTP request data.

5. Children's Privacy

This service is COPPA compliant. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk of children's data being collected.

6. GDPR / CCPA Rights

Since we collect zero personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns, contact us at the email below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
